New Hampshire Tax Protesters in Stand-off with Federal Marshals

And here is my final wrap up post.
This is a story I have wanted to write about. It is a local New Hampshire story about two tax protesters in Plainfield New Hampshire. It has been in the local news here over the past few months, but I haven’t seen it on the national news. I thought it was time to get it out there.
Ed and Elaine Brown have been holed up in their Plainfield home since being convicted of tax evasion in January. They have fortified their house and built a watchtower over the year preparing for this day. They have many weapons and food to last years.
They believe that there is no law requiring them to pay federal income taxes. They have payed all local, and state property taxes they have owed over the years. It’s the federal income tax they are protesting.
The couple has asked the federal government since 1994 to cite a law that requires average Americans to pay taxes on their wages.
“They have never done so, and the reason they have never done so is because no such law exists,” Elaine Brown said.
They cite that they could have payed their taxes any time over the years and they said they would if the law requiring them to do so was showed to them. They refuse to pay based on beliefs and would rather die not paying taxes then to give in.
The Browns reiterated that they could have cleared their name at any time by paying the taxes the government says they owe. It’s not ego that keeps them holed up in their Plainfield home waiting for a potentially violent clash with government agents, they said.
“Nobody would be that stupid to get into this kind of pressure and anxiety every day” unless they were standing by something they truly believed, Ed Brown said.
As of now the federal marshals are not expecting any kind of armed conflict. They are planning on waiting this out and hoping that the Brown’s surrender peacefully. The Brown’s, on the other hand, are wating for a conflict and are prepared to die.
“We know there’s a possibility that this will end badly and they will end up killing us,” Elaine Brown
The Browns, who sequestered themselves in their Plainfield home after a January jury trial, have said that if they leave, it will be either as free citizens or “in body bags.” But whether they perish or not, Ed Brown said, he’s confident the ordeal will have a positive ending.
“Only God knows the time frame,” he said. “And no matter how it ends, it will be good. It doesn’t matter. If they do something to us, they’ll make martyrs out of us.”
This sounds like it is going to end badly to me. So far both sides have been playing the wait and see game.

This young man said if they(IRS) would show him the law that states that earned income is taxable that they would pay the taxes. Why don’t the IRS just show these people the law? Well Aaron Russo ask the same question, but they never could produce it maybe because it doesn’t exist.
This is something that the public deserves to know about and to my knowledge not one tv station CBS,ABC,NBC, or Fox has aired this, but Paris Hilton going to jail for Probatio violation (dwi) hits all the tv stations and newspapers hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm somethings not right with our media. They must be ran by some of the same people that are in a secret society together or maybe they make over 500,000 a year so the taxes don’t affect them. To me the society thing is more logical.

resistance is futile, you will be assimilated, by the B.O.R.G. we are nothing more than drones for the Bureaucratic Oligarchy Ruling Government. Most drones can not think for themselves and in this case we have some freethinkers who think their are others out here like them. How mistaken they are.. And MOST of the other tax protesters are cowards or just like to talk and sell books or they are tax paying protesters out making money claiming to be tax protesters. Now we have so protesters with guts enough to stand up and WHERE ARE ALL THE OTHER PROTESTER? I will tell you where they are: HIDING

Thank you for keeping the public informed. It’s appreciated more than you’ll ever know. Thank God for the internet since all the major news media keep quiet on such information as the N.H. standoff. My prayers are with you and all freedom-loving Americans willing to stand up for truth, justice and the “original” American way.

It a good thing to see people stand up for what they know is right, it’s sad that they will ether heal or die because of the cowards that are in the gov or legal system that are the problem or are to scared to fix the problem. Thank goodness that most Americans have a set of Values un-like most of our gov and legal employees that will tell you that they are above the law. By the way you won’t see this in any major news because they own them. Wayne

Nothing incredible about this. The IRS does not want the mainstream to find that they have been paying unwarranted taxes all of these years. You will see no media coverage. Just as most dumb americans think our borders might be secured. Thanks to Bill Clinton and NAFTA our borders will not be secured and will only open farther once the union for world govt. is complete(us,mexico, canada union). Bushes time in office is accomplishing this. The IRS is working illegally and always have . In the next few years you will be paying the united nations.

Where are the stink bombs and ugh who gives a shit ? OTHER PROTESTERs ? Your kidding right? People who own houses who do pay their taxes each year are more honest and don’t have problems and let the gobs of taxes amount up each year with greeding snot nosedness and thats why THE OTHER PEOPLE don’t have this problem !!! Other people pay and find a way when don’t even have twenty thousand a year to pay for their house, car and child and at over five hundred thou a year you are being disrespectful to be with pride having a house and car unpaid for !!! The Browns sadly and I mean sad to say but they are retarded. I don’t believe anybody plays with the following fantasies about this whole situation. A. the IRS do not try to hide everything they do ! Were you born yesterday or do you remember the famous Leona Helmsley case she was a millionaire and she served like ten years prison for evasion. (I’m definitely not entirely for them or know any, or their strange methods of calculation etc. but I know this about them). again I don’t see serving time as helping anybody but get these people some therapy and help them like credit companies to liquidate assets and pay back taxes off so they can be free but they’re still crazy for not paying and allowing this surmount. The Browns are not heroes and don’t support others only their own strange and selfish want of some blaze of glory.

On July 20, 2007, Tom Cryer a trial lawyer in his defence took on the IRS in an income tax trial and proved his case that the Federal Income Tax is illigal. There is no law in the United States Constitution where an income tax is put on the people of America. Attorney Cryer proved his case in Sheversport La. by a jury trial and the verdic was a 12-0 in his favor.

I now think the IRS are retarded. I realize bombs do come before bread at the United States. The taxes are all for harm by bombs. Two years later I know the Browns are right.
