Hillary Clinton vs the DNC for Florida and Michigan Delegates

hillaryrealbad.jpgI haven’t written about this topic yet, but I certainly am enjoying it. This is going to be fun as Hillary Clinton has reached such desperate times that she is trying to have the Florida and Michigan delegates counted.

This is the type of person that Hillary is. She and all the other Democrats agreed not to campaign in these two states because the Democrat committee punished the states for breaking party rules. Hillary then goes on to campaign there anyway, giving a big “FUCK YOU” to the rest of the party. She is now using her political might to have those delegates counted because her campaign is in such disarray. TEE HEE.

Just think of the arrogance that this shows. Hillary will stop at nothing to gain the presidency, and now that her inevitability has worn off and her coronation is in doubt she is going to pull out all the stops. She knew full well that Michigan’s and Florida’s delegates wouldn’t be seated and she was fine with that until she started to lose. Now she wants the rules changed and the delegates to be seated. She now claims that the states were disenfranchised.

Hillary was the only major candidate on the Michigan ballot because all the other candidates did the right thing and pulled their names off the ballot. Hillary left her name on the ballot, evidently she always had this fall back plan in case her campaign started to falter, and it has. Hillary is willing to play by the rules as long as she is winning, but if she begins to lose, all bets are off.

What does this tell us about the character of this woman who wants to be president? Do we really want a president who when things don’t go her way is so willing to subvert the rules that would make her president? How will she react to adversity as president? Will she run off and pout if other world leaders don’t give her her way? Perhaps she will just cry, we’ve seen how easily she can be brought to tears. Perhaps she will lie to them to get what she wants and then turn around screw them over. That’s the way to get back America’s standing in the world that Democrats claim we have lost, huh?

This is just an example of how calculating the Clinton’s are. She knowingly promised not to campaign in these states that were being punished and all the other candidates took her at her word and also promised not to campaign there also. That was Obama’s mistake, he should know as the rest of America does, that the Clinton’s can never, never be taken at their word. When push comes to shove the Clinton’s always have a card up their sleeve and in this case it was to manipulate the Democrat candidates to stay away from two states that were punished so that she could win them and then try to get the states reinstated.

In the end this shows a lack of integrity, it shows her manipulating and calculating ways, it shows her lack of character, and above all it shows that she is not ready to be president of the United States.

Barack Obama may be even more to the left than Hillary, and he may not be ready to be president, but at least he has integrity and character. Two things that Hillary Clinton does not.

Now, are these just rumors you’re reporting on here, or is there something to this? I’m certainly no Hillary fan, but I think you should provide a link to something before those kinds of allegations get tossed around. Frankly, I think this would be a big loser for her politically (for many of the reasons you touch on), and I can’t imagine that she’d go down that road (depending on where things shake out in the race going forward).

Dear ChenZhen, it’s all over the news and Internet.

Chenzhen, I think there is something to it. I have been hearing it on the news almost every day. I don’t have a link, sorry. But the talk on the news is that she is trying to get these votes counted. I heard her give a speech in Florida, I think it was her accepting her Florida victory, in which she said that Florida voters didn’t have a voice in 2000 but she would make sure it didn’t happen again.

Wei- I’m familiar with the story as well, but I think the distinction should be made between speculation and whether Clinton is, as of right now, actively persuing it.

    I found something:

Clinton, 60, said not seating the delegates could dampen voter turnout in the November election.

“Both Michigan and Florida should count because these are two states we have to carry,” Clinton said Feb. 11.

Here is the link I will be using in an upcoming post.

I don’t know Sen. Clinton, but based on the shallow knowledge I have – of a woman who stayed married to an accused sexual harasser, an accused rapist, and a definite philanderer for political gain – I cannot say I am surprised she would pull a stunt like this. Frankly, I think Sen. Clinton finds ways to rationalize everything she does. For someone who claims to care about the country, she sure doesn’t care about keeping her word.

Yeah, keeping her word means nothing when it comes to political gain. She is too interested in the power of the presidency,. She will say or do anything, including covering up her husbands indescresions, to win the white house.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Think about it. How could she not do this? It seems to be her only chance right now and from what I heard on Meet The Press this morning, Obama’s head adviser Axelrod got all nervous when asked about what the super delegates would do, in my opinion, like he knows she will try anything to get the nomination.

We must encourage Michigan and Flordia Democrats to punish the DNC for taking away their voice in the selection of their party’s nominee. The best way to do this is to vote for the Republican in November while telling Donna Brazile to take a running jump.

The delegates should be seated, this is not a Hillary matter…the voters should be heard. I can gaurantee all you Obama supporters that if he wins the nomination, he most certainly will not carry the states of Florida and Mich. Obama and Edwards made a personal choice not to have their names on the ballot, don’t blame Hillary for that fact! There is a bias against Clinton by the left wing media and everybody knows it… and the people are just drinking up all the kool-aid, how typical!

It wasn’t a personal choice, the Democrat committee themselves set the rules, not the candidates. Edwards and Obama simply followed the rules, Hillary did not! If you want to say that Hillry’s willing violation of her own party’s rules is a personal choice than fine, it just proves she is willing to cheat to win.
Why can’t you people who support Hillary on this get it through your heads that it was the Democrat party that punished these states for rules violations, and it was the candidates, including Hillary at first, who agreed with the party? The only people drinking the koolaide are you Hillary supporters who think it is okay to win at any costs if the Clinton’s tell you it is okay.

Florida and Michigan were punished for breaking the DNC rules that is why they don’t count. But in typical liberal fashion Democrats now want to not hold these states accountable fot their actions.

The only way an American citizen’s right to vote is taken away is when they commit a crime and is sent to a penal institution. Fl. citizens have not committed such a crime and should not have their vote taken away from them. Their vote should count and their delegates be heard.

They do have a vote and it will count…..in the general election. All parties have their nominating process and rules. If a state violates that rule the party may punish them. The Republicans also penalized several states, but not suprisingly, they punished the states in a much smarter way. They only penalized the states half of their delegates. This idea that voters will not be counted is a lie perpetuated by the Clinton camp.
